As Brandt begins to infiltrate the Kaiser's life in search of clues, he finds himself drawn into an unexpected and passionate romance with Mieke, one of the Kaiser's maids.

The Circle

Launching in cinemas this week, this futuristic drama is set to push the boundaries of privacy and ethics when it comes to the transformation and progression of the digital age.

The plot follows the story of Mae Holland (Emma Watson) who is hired to work for the world's largest and most powerful tech and social media company. She sees it as an opportunity of a lifetime. As she rises through the ranks, she is encouraged by the company's founder to engage in a ground-breaking experiment that pushes all boundaries and ultimately compromises her personal freedom. Her participation in the experiment, and every decision she makes, begins to affect the lives and future of her friends, family, and that of humanity.  

The movie, adapted from Dave Eggers’ 2013 novel and directed by James Ponsoldt, is about a corporation called The Circle that stores massive amounts of data about each of the account holders who belong to it.  

Starring Emma Watson, previously known for her award winning performances in the Harry Potter movies, and well acclaimed and A-list actor Tom Hanks – together their on-screen performances of a corporate mogul and innocent heroine will have you questioning what sort of society do you really want?
