The Dell Canvas 27" QHD touch screen sits horizontally on a desk and pairs with most new Windows 10 laptops, desktop or all-in-ones. Users interact with it via a combination of a pressure-sensing pen and a totem or dial, which sits freely on the Canvas and can be used to zoom in and out of images and drawings. This means that one doesn’t have to stop working on a graphic, select the zoom tool, zoom in and the reselect the pen tool to carry on, as the dial is operated by a person’s second hand and is immediately available. Furthermore, the dial can be used to select different pen modes, colour palettes and pen sizes. The canvas can be rotated into draftsman mode, raising it up 10 degrees, just like a traditional drafting table. An optional stand raised Canvas up to 80 degrees.
