Navy unveils firefighting robot prototype

Scientists have recently unveiled the Shipboard Autonomous Firefighting Robot (SAFFiR). The two-legged, or bipedal, humanoid robot uses thermal imaging to identify fires which are automatically doused via one of two hoses located in its arms.
