In his new role at Telkom Business, Deon Liebenberg, the man behind BlackBerry's success in South Africa, has announced aggressive pricing on data products and tablets.


The new head of Mobile Solutions at Telkom Business, Deon Liebenberg, credited with building the Blackberry brand in South Africa while country manager of Research in Motion, has fired his first salvo in his new role.

 

Telkom Business today announced new mobile data offerings "that promise to provide greater value and efficiency to business customers."

 

The new  mobile data offerings include the Data Max 15GB offer for R249 and the Data Max 5GB offer which includes a Samsung Galaxy Tab II 10.1” or the new iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular for R379. Even without the iPad included, the latter would be one of the best data bundle deals in South Africa

 

“We are committed to providing value to our customers," says Liebenberg. "Our Data Max 15GB SIM only deal provides enough data to run a small business. Business customers can also choose to take promotional plans that are bundled with market leading tablets and USB modems to fully leverage the mobile solutions.”

 

“The Data Max 15GB promotion presents great opportunity for business to transact, download, upload, and browse the web without the constant concern of going out of bundle. The Telkom value and bundle enhancements for businesses are unsurpassed,” he added.
